OUR STORY

Naturally, we are often asked by family and friends "why did you choose to become physios?". As you could expect, the easy answer to this question is that we love our sport and exercise, care for people, want to make a difference and physio manages to amalgamate these interests into a profession.

While we both may have started our careers in physio because of those very generic default responses (we cared, loved sport and making a difference), why we have stayed, why we are so passionate and driven and why we can't see ourselves doing anything else is a different story.

If we had instead been asked "what gives you the greatest satisfaction in your day?" This question is easier to answer.

There is nothing that gives life more meaning than being able to give hope to someone who feels defeated, inspire someone to dream bigger and reach their full potential or to be able to share the delight in helping someone do the simple things we take for granted.

Each day people seek our help and we are so privileged to be able to help them.

While some see it as dangerous being unable to separate yourself from work, we see this as a strength. We share your frustration and disappointment when your injury gets in the way of life and we also share the bounce in your step knowing you've achieved one of your goals. The inevitable ups and downs of life is what drives us to think laterally and find what works best for you.

There is a always a solution, you just need to look in the right places

OUR TRAINING

At Smart Physio Solutions, we treat each and every person as an individual. For us to provide the very best possible treatment and management of your injuries we use a combination of techniques and tools to ensure a fast and sustained recovery.

Below are a few of the techniques and tools you can expect to be used during treatment:

  • Accupuncture & Dry Needling
  • Cupping
  • Kinesio-taping
  • Muscle Energy Techniques (METs)
  • The Mulligan Concept
  • Clinical Mat & Equipment Pilates
  • Retül Static & Dynamic Bike-fit

We play to our strengths.

  • We are perfectionists - our attention to detail means that while there is no correct way, there is often a better way
  • We are logical thinkers - everything does happen to for a reason; a reason that should be able to be explained. Our complex clinical reasoning is what sets us apart. A better understanding allows for better overall treatment and management.
  • We are self-aware - We know our strengths and our weaknesses. If we know of someone better equipped in helping your problem, we will help you find them.
  • We are a team - While you may seeing one of us, you are getting the collaborative effort from both of us. We share and discuss any challenges and make sure that there is nothing missed. Two heads is always better than one.
